Alexander Rose Timber Sealer (500ml) is suitable for use on furniture from the Roble, Sherwood, Mahogany, Pine and Painted Acacia collections. A high quality multi-purpose timber treatment, specifically formulated to help protect and enhance the natural beauty of most types of hardwood furniture. It contains water repellent to prevent the ingress of moisture. Timber treatment helps protect against sunlight.

Alexander Rose Manufactures garden furniture which will last for many years. Over time, as part of the natural weathering process, cracks and splits will appear in the wood, particularly on the end grain and to a lesser extent on the surface. The drier the wood, the more cracks will appear due to the evaporation of natural oils and minerals in the wood from exposure to the elements. As with most hardwoods, this is a normal characteristic for any timber which remains outdoors.

Alexander Rose's timber furniture is designed with this in mind and its strength and durability will remain unaffected. Wooden furniture can be treated with our specially formulated care products to give a beautiful rich finish and enhance the look of the wood. Alternatively it can be left to turn a mellow silver/grey, and should be cleaned occasionally with soapy water.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Preparation

Ensure all surfaces of timber are thoroughly cleaned prior to treatment, using Alexander Rose Timber Cleaner to remove all traces of dirt, stains or black fungal growth. Heavily weathered furniture may require sanding down to recover the appearance of the original surface.

Application

Apply sparingly with a cloth and remove excess oil with a clean cloth. Over application could encourage black fungal growth. Do not apply onto damp or wet timber and always allow the treatment to dry out thoroughly before use. Follow preparation instructions.

Coverage

Apply 1 litre of product per 4 square metres of timber surface.
