On his sixth album, Palace Savant, Brooklyn producer Jonas Reinhardt (aka Jesse Reiner) undergoes a profound solo odyssey. The record may be the most spectacular realization of Jonas Reinhardt's outward-bound sonic aspirations. These eight tracks draw on 14th-century architect Peter Parler's breathtaking St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. St. Vitus is a statement to the future by the rulers at the time, Reiner says. It's surreal, grandiose, psychedelic - and the sheer scale of human ambition involved is almost beyond comprehension. Parler reportedly deviated from the cathedral's initial blueprint and elevated the Gothic style to heretofore-unimagined, bizarre levels. With Palace Savant, Reiner projected Parler's handiwork into Thomas Edison's era of electricity. I envisioned [Parler] retrofitting his cathedral with excesses of incandescent light, preparing for a coming age of electronics. Palace Savant is what a contemporary electronic performance in that space might sound like. Recorded on tour and in New York over the course of a year and mixed at Transmitter Park Studio in Greenpoint, Palace Savant begins with the instant attention-grabber/pulse-accelerator Old Kaizen. At once claustrophobic and spacious, it possesses an urgent, chase-scene synth throb that would make John Carpenter or Bernard Fevre jealous. The turbulent Shattered Remains of Orr sounds like Edgar Froese's kosmische-ambient masterpiece Aqua (1974) tossed into shark-infested waters. On Androma, Reiner's expertly-modulated arpeggios contrast low and high frequencies, revealing his ability to create suspense with a chiaroscuro of whirs and pulsations. Palace Savant achieves two towering peaks. The first is Go Sceptre Go, a swiftly-moving, heavenly droner that veers off on a tangent into a much darker, more chaotic direction. The second is Noctornum, a burbling and soaring piece that's at once aquatic and astral, before an emphatic rhythm forms, pushing things into menacing Szajner-esque territory. The album closes with the mid-tempo arpeggios and muted, wailing siren-tones of Omat Principle Decay, a moving finale to a record that's taken you so far and tingled your senses so intensely. A high point in Jonas Reinhardt's large canon, the dramatic and majestic Palace Savant does exquisite justice to St. Vitus Cathedral's grandeur. Album artwork by Andy Gilmore. Happy it is unflavored
Flavor Name: Unflavored, Size: 1.46 Pound (Pack of 1)
I was worried about the taste based on some of the reviews. I tried it in my coffee, and I'm glad I did it that way. I keep coffee in the fridge, so that is what I mixed with one tablespoon of this. I use half and half and no sugar. I tasted it. It tastes like burnt coffee. Not a bad thing...thats just what the taste it added. I decided to see what would happen if I added a splash of a flavored creamer. The taste went away instantly. Hope this helps someone!

Great for my tidy mind. Now the cabinet is organized and clean. Space saving too
Size: Left Facing, Size: Left Facing
Easy install. Glides nicely holds the jars without much movement. The labels are wonderful. I am super pleased. We bought 4 left facing for our cabinet. Not done replacing all the jars and such. But you can see a good idea how it will be. The fit out needs perfectly and looks great. I really like how neat and good visibility too. They seem sturdy with all the weight of the filled bottles also.

Great space saver, keeps everything organized.

I am soooo happy with this purchase! I’ve been researching lots of spice racks to see which ones would best suit my needs. This definitely fits the bill.
This product was perfect. It includes everything you need to organize your spices: the rack, screws, stickers, bottles, and a white gel pen to write additional spice names. The rack is heavy duty and sturdy. Once anchored to your cabinet, there’s no way it’s falling out.
The bottles are a good size and you can transfer standard store bought spices directly into the bottles. An additional asset is that the bottles come with a shaker spout that has two options for use. It can easily snap off and on when refilling.
The stickers are well thought out. They’re good quality labels and can easily be repositioned. I accidentally had an edge stick to the middle of a bottle and was scared that it wouldn’t come off. I was happy that it lifted up cleanly and didn’t wrinkle the sticker.
I didn’t have a need to write a lot of new names, except for two so far. Using the pen included, I wrote labels for Dashi and Seasoning-Arrachera. I tried to match the font of the labels and I think I did a pretty good job. You wouldn’t notice it was hand written unless you really stared at it. The white pen is great and so easy to write with. I didn’t have to go over any letters. One pen stroke was enough.
It also came with labels that you can place on the side of the rack for easy identification. I haven’t put them on mine yet because I still need to buy two more racks to store all my spices. Then I can get them all organized the way I want.
This is such a space saver. One of my absolute favorite purchases!

Absolutely worth the money!

I can't say enough about these spice racks! I have kept my spices in a corner cabinet on lazy Susans for the last 25 years and that's worked great, but it did not have much curb appeal and some spices were in the middle of the caddies so I would have to pull the front ones off to get to the middle ones. Corner cabinets are tricky and can be such a waste of space, but I made it work. But now it doesn't just work, it sings! My husband bought me 4 units and they fit perfectly in the space. Whoever designed these racks thought through EVERYTHING. The labels are well organized with plenty of obscure herbs and spices as well as all the common ones, and some blank stickers for the products they don't have labels for. There is a list of all the spices and which page you will find the label. There are also small corresponding labels to put on the ends so you know which rack has your spice (I haven't put those on yet because I want to make sure I have everything where I want it first). Since I have 4 sets of labels, I used some for labeling the baskets where I have the extra spices for refills. The racks are sturdy and easy to install. These would also work well in cabinets that are not corners - you would pull them straight out and it would make it easy to access all of your spices. If I could give this 10 stars, I would.

Fabulous!
Size: Left Facing, Size: Left Facing
I wish I had remembered to take a picture before I emptied my spice cabinet. Actually, on second thought, it would be embarrassing to share. I have two of these sturdy slide-out spice racks and could use another one. The racks were not hard to install, slide smoothly, look great, and my spices are in order! I was able to fit two of them on one side of my cabinet. I love the jars and labels. I use some spices much more than others so I put the matching labels on the large containers of these spices and keep them on the top shelf. I would definitely buy these again!
