The chant is designed to work well with English words and is meant to be easy to use by all. Furthermore, each Psalm and canticle is printed with its own suggested tone in such a way that no page flipping is needed. The book is designed to be easy to use in the Daily Office.
To make it more useful, there are indexes of all English first lines as well as the traditional Latin first lines that are sometimes used as titles for the Psalms.
