Vicissitude Vivisection takes the reader through the process of self-discovery and personal growth by exposing the internal conflict and subtle changes in the attitudes and outlooks on life that directly affect everything you perceive about yourself. The images combined with the text link a rainbow of emotion with a visceral examination of the interiority of the mind. Changes are not always easy, understood, or even welcome, but they are the integral part of being human.
Vicissitude vivisection is a collage piece that combines found objects, photos, magazine clippings, paint, colored pencils, ink and text. Many different forms of the art of collage and emotional expressions are combined into one piece. The vivid colors and textures are a strong point and help convey the meaning behind each picture.

Really Nice Hydrating Toner Pads

At 52, post-menopausal, with dry and increasingly sensitive skin, I’m very selective about toner pads. Many of them either feel too thin and ineffective or too active and irritating. At this stage, that matters more than aggressive results. In terms of moisture, these do a really nice job. My skin feels comfortable after using them, and they work well as a prep step before the rest of my routine. On some mornings, they even give enough hydration that I don’t feel rushed to apply moisturizer immediately. Fragrance is also worth mentioning. The scent is very light and subtle, and it doesn’t linger. I’m careful about fragrance, and these didn’t cause any sensitivity or irritation. Another thing I like is how easy they are to use. They’re quick, convenient, and a nice step when I want hydration without adding another liquid toner. Overall, these feel like a supportive, hydrating step that helps improve overall skin quality over time. They’re gentle, comfortable, and easy to incorporate into a daily routine.
