The tiny ovular dark green leaves are blanketed by small deep blue star shaped flowers that bloom heavily in late spring and sporadically throughout summer. Grows best in moist, well drained soil. Sturdy enough to withstand heavy foot traffic, making it an excellent filler for paths. An aggressive spreader. Also sold as Lobelia or Isotoma
