Considering that it’s been a Begg x Co favourite for over five decades, calling the Arran a classic is an understatement. Sourced from Inner Mongolian nomadic farming communities and spun in Italy according to bespoke specifications, ultra-fine 15.5-micron cashmere is woven in a dobby loom at our Scottish mills before being brushed with dried Italian teasels and pressed to set our signature rippled effect. The Arran's dense weave and relaxed fit makes it a cold weather staple; though super soft, they're made to last. Brighten up your winter wardrobe or complement your palette with a trusty neutral hue, and wear your oversized cashmere scarf over chunky knits, tailored suits, and everything in between.

Care

To maintain the finish of your scarf we would recommend gentle brushing in the direction of the fibre with a clothes brush to ensure minimal fibre disturbance. Only brush in the direction of the fibre. As all our products are made with natural fibres, over time, pilling may occur. The best treatment for this is to use a pilling comb to gently remove any fibre pills. All our products are recommended as dry clean only due to the delicate nature of the fibres. If necessary, spot clean with a clean, damp cloth and blot any excess moisture, but do not rub as this will cause fibre distortion. Finish by pressing with a cool iron over some tissue paper.

A definite must read especially if you have difficult family relationships. My childhood was very unhappy and confusing as I had a mother who is a borderline. My father, who seemed to be the anchor of reason in our family, recently passed causing some very difficult and seemingly unreasonable discussions. My mother was all over the place emotionally, causing me as an adult many sleepless nights from her verbal vomits. As a survivor of a borderline, it is very difficult to have good healthy relationships with your own children because even years after you’ve left home and have your own family, those words “I hate you, I wish you’d never been born” can still come to haunt you and cause you to doubt yourself. I gave a copy of this book to my sisters. One read it, and both she and her husband devoured it. It really has helped us to separate ourselves from some of the family crazy, and be more Christ centered and ministry focused. Our mother was quite good at throwing “bible” at us and using it rather inappropriately to fit her agendas, always causing us to doubt our effectiveness in ministering your other individuals.
