Foreword by Albert Hadley

The definitive book on the legendary decorator Billy Baldwin, known as the "Dean of American Decorating," famous for his classical taste, streamlined modernism, and brilliant use of color. In the tradition of Rizzoli’s Albert Hadley and David Hicks, this is the first fully illustrated account of the career of Billy Baldwin (1903–1983), one of the most important decorators of the twentieth century, whose work has influenced contemporary designers from Bunny Williams to Jeffrey Bilhuber. A native of Baltimore, Baldwin’s work caught the eye of eminent New York decorator Ruby Ross Wood. She invited him to join her firm, saying his work stood out "like a beacon of light in the boredom of the houses around it." Baldwin’s style was a revelation—simultaneously classical and modernist, tailored and clean, yet dramatically colored, and above all American. An enemy of clutter and conspicuous wealth, he favored natural materials and comfortable furniture. The drama in his rooms often came from color, as seen in the dark brown lacquered walls of Cole Porter’s library or the scarlet cotton print that covered Diana Vreeland’s apartment. Immensely charming, Baldwin was a popular addition to the high society of New York. His clients included Bill and Deeda Blair, Babe and Bill Paley, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. With a foreword by Baldwin’s former student Albert Hadley, and enriched by never-before-published transcripts of four 1974 lectures that Baldwin gave at the Cooper-Hewitt, this is an important book for anyone interested in interior design.

William Baldwin, Jr. (1903 – 25 November 1983), known as Billy Baldwin and nicknamed Billy B, was a New York interior decorator, characterized in an obituary as the "dean of interior decorators". He was named to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1974.

Good Puppy Toy with Gentle Squeaker – Soft, Cute & Budget-Friendly
Color: White - Giraffe, Color: White - Giraffe
I bought this squeaky plush toy set for my puppy Dio, and he was immediately drawn to it. The giraffe designs are adorable, and the squeakers kept him engaged and excited during playtime. But are not annoying for my family to hear while he plays. The material is soft and gentle on his mouth, which I really liked, especially for a puppy. It’s lightweight and easy for him to carry around, and it definitely kept him entertained. One thing I would suggest for improvement is reinforcing the head or neck area which is what I did before even giving it to him to play because he is an aggressive dog. Adding extra stitching to those areas may make a big difference, especially for puppies who like to focus their chewing there. I believe this is a fun and engaging toy for our growing big puppy, especially for light to moderate chewers, Plus the price point makes it even more of a sweet gift idea.

Not suitable for all dogs, but they are cute.
Color: White&Grey&Brown
I probably over estimated their durability. My dogs tore these apart very quickly. Better for smaller dogs and ones that don't go primal over their toys!

Very durable toy for dogs that chew!
Color: Brown Dog, Color: Brown Dog
My dogs absolutely love this toy! It is super durable and so far became their favorite go to toy since I gave it to them. Highly recommend getting this toy if you have a dog that chews alot. They have not been able to rip any parts off of this toy which is great and exactly what I wanted.

Very poor quality but cute
Color: White&Grey&Brown
Poor quality…..one of the toys wasn’t sewn shut so stuffing was visible. One other toy was torn open by our small dog within five minutes of giving it to her and she is not an aggressive chewer. We are returning these items.
