Compact ("Dyform") Wire with eye terminal, ø14 mm, Length 25,2 m, Furlex 400A Compact wire (Dyform) can be used for Furlex to achieve 5% less stretch than with the standard 1x19 thread wire. The Compact wire kit includes a Sta lok wedge that must be used for a safe installation. AISI 316 stainless steel. The newer Furlex models, of the 4th generation, has a purpose made top-guard and do not need the roller.
Our recommendation is that the forestay wire is replaced after 20000 nautical miles.
