The Teltonika RUT142 is a compact industrial Ethernet router engineered for robust and reliable connectivity in the most demanding environments. Designed to enhance security through network isolation, this router is an ideal solution for industrial automation, energy, and utility applications. It features a durable aluminum housing with an integrated DIN rail bracket, ensuring seamless integration into control panels and remote system enclosures. The RUT142 is built to withstand extreme conditions, boasting a wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to 75 °C.
Versatile Interfacing for Modern and Legacy Systems
Bridging the gap between modern and legacy hardware, the RUT142 is equipped with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports (one WAN, one LAN) and a crucial RS232 serial interface via a DB9 socket for serial communication needs. This makes it an essential tool for connecting older, mission-critical equipment to your network. Additionally, it provides Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n) connectivity, supporting up to 50 simultaneous connections in both Access Point (AP) and Station (STA) modes, perfect for on-site management and monitoring without needing to access the main cabinet.

Powered by the Linux-based RutOS, the RUT142 offers a suite of advanced networking and security features. It supports a wide range of industrial protocols, including Modbus, DLMS, DNP3, and OPC UA.
