The flat ring band is 2mm wide, and 1.7mm thick. The ring is finished with a polished finish. 

The height of the setting above the finger is about 4.6mm for a 6mm moissanite.

So glad I chose this much less expensive simple one.

What those people don’t realize is that by design the hooks are like that to keep a firm hold onto the tray itself. I found it funny how mad people were about that when really it’s very very simple to make it work. Nice product sticks well, seems sturdy.
