Newspaper reporter Tim O’Hara and his otherworldly housemate “Uncle Martin” return—but this time they’re joined by Tim’s spirited niece Katy, a second antennae-headed Martian named Andromeda, and the lovable, shaggy alien pet Oakie Doakie. Together, they create a lively and often chaotic household as they try to keep their extraterrestrial identities a secret.

To maintain their cover, the O’Haras pose as an extended family, passing off the Martians as Katy’s Uncle Martin and his “nephew” Andy. But their growing list of unusual relatives doesn’t go unnoticed. Suspicious neighbor Detective Bill Brennan and his son Brad are constantly on the case, determined to expose the truth behind the strange goings-on next door. Meanwhile, returning sitcom character Lorelei Brown—Tim’s delightfully scatterbrained landlady—continues to pine for Uncle Martin, adding even more comedic complications.

While none of the original cast returned to voice their roles, the series features standout voice work from Jonathan Harris (best known as Dr. Smith on Lost in Space), who takes over as Uncle Martin. Jane Webb lends her talents to both Mrs. Brown and Katy O’Hara, and is also recognized as the voice of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Produced by Lou Scheimer and Norm Prescott, this animated series captures the spirit of the original while expanding its universe with colorful new characters and imaginative storylines.
