The Muse HiFi M6 Double features a double tube arrangement. On one front, we have a unique neon tube display featuring Nixie IN-7 tubes, and on the other, we have dual JAN6418 vacuum tubes for the tube amp section. This double tube arrangement makes the M6 Double a unique next-generation portable DAC/AMP. At the DAC front, Muse HiFi has entrusted the ESS’s flagship ES9039 DAC chipset that provides crystal clear high-resolution audio signal processing. World’s First Nixie Tube Portable DAC/AMP:- 

Nixie tubes are the world’s first linear digital display tubes, which were pretty much in use during the 1950s. The latest M6 Double brings back this nostalgic technology with its innovative Nixie tube display, it treats the users with a nostalgic vintage feel with modern sound excellence. The M6 Double adopts the IN-17 model, which is the world’s smallest Nixie tube. The vacuum glass tube is filled with low-pressure inert gas that creates a neon glow when a high voltage of more than 170V is applied to the anode. They have the longest lifespan of about 200,000 hours. This vintage-style Nixie tube display shows the active volume level. 

World’s Smallest Portable Electron Tube DAC/AMP:- 

Muse HiFi M6 Double features military-grade, directly heated pentode NOS vacuum tubes. It houses dual JAN6418 tubes that provide a warm, smooth midrange with soft and neatly detailed high-end overtones. Muse HiFi has done extensive research in implementing these two high-performance tubes in this portable device. The M6 Double ensures a smooth and lively sound profile that immerses the listeners with its clean and captivating presentation. The tubes are placed in firm shock absorbers so as to absorb any impact and protect the tubes from vibrations and shocks. This shock-absorbing arrangement also protects the tubes from microphonic issues. 

Flagship-Level ESS Sabre DAC Chipset:- 

In order to deliver a top-tier sonic excellence with the latest flagship M6 Double, Muse HiFi has equipped the device with the flagship ES9039 series 32-bit DAC chipset. It provides exceptional performance with full support for PCM and DSD audio signal processing. The M6 Double achieves crystal clear output with ultra-low THD+N performance and high SNR, DNR performance. This DAC chipset is paired with two Accusilicon AS318B series low-jitter clocks running at 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz, respectively. The M6 Double also has seven digital filters that allow users to fiddle around and find their perfect sound with the device. With its professionally designed audio circuitry, the M6 Double produces a pure HiFi audio output and promises a distinctive sound experience between the tube and transistor modes. 

Advanced Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity for Wireless Input:- 

Muse HiFi M6 Double is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest QCC5125 high-definition Bluetooth processor chipset. It enables smooth wireless Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity for wireless signal input on the M6 Double, offering a stable, lag-free Bluetooth connection. The DAC/AMP supports high-definition transmission protocols such as LDAC, AptX adaptive, etc., that ensure high-quality audio even in wireless mode. 

Enhanced Power Supply Architecture:- 

Muse HiFi has an exclusively designed power supply on the M6 Double. This exclusive power design is a must for the M6 Double as it requires independent 170V power for the Nixie tubes, about 25V for the JAN6418 tubes, and further for the DAC and other components on the audio circuit of the M6 Double. The MCU here controls 20MOSFETs to drive the Nixie tube display, perfectly integrating HiFi with electron and Nixie tubes. The M6 Double packs a 4500mAh battery that provides outstanding battery durability as well.
