Ferno Scoop 65 EXL Stretcher
If a patient has a suspected spinal injury, it is essential they are immobilised from the very start. Patients who are supported with the correct use of a backboard have a higher chance of recovery and having a stretcher suitable for scans and medical intervention, reducing the amount of transfers, allows the patient to remain immobilised throughout the initial stages of treatment.
The Ferno Scoop 65 EXL Stretcher is ideal for this. Easy to use due to the twin locking system (TSL) on either end, the scoop eliminates body roll while being suitable for an MRI scanner.
Features of the Ferno Scoop 65 EXL Stretcher
The Ferno Scoop 65 EXL Stretcher is suitable to support a patient for the entire process, from the initial evacuation all the way through to treatment. Becoming the paramedics stretcher of choice, the Scoop 65 is designed to offer both comfort and immobilisation for a patient.
The scoop helps to decrease the movement of the spine by supporting and securing the patient onto the stretcher. The scoop is coated in a thermally-treated polymer that prevents the patient from getting either too hot or too cold while the plastic moulded coated enables the stretcher to be wiped clean.
Added Security for Safer Use
The scoop has twin safety locks on either end of the scoop to allow the ends to be released quickly if required. Telescopic tubes run the length of the stretcher, enabling the length to be adjusted for the best fit for patients of various heights.
The Ferno Scoop 65 EXL Stretcher is easy to store to make it ideal for storage in an ambulance.
