Met een kamado kan je het hele jaar door de heerlijkste gerechten op tafel toveren. Voor elke gelegenheid een ander gerecht. Bij barbecueën denk je al snel aan een mals stuk vlees, een goed stuk vis of smaakvolle gegrilde groente. Aan een pizza denk je misschien niet zo snel maar het is zeker het proberen waard. Vier je een feestje in italiaanse sferen? Dan mag de pizza natuurlijk niet ontbreken. Dus ontpop jezelf tot een echte pizza chef want met deze set zal je de show stelen en wanen de gasten zich in een echte pizzeria!

Hoe maak je een pizza met een pizzasteen op je barbecue

Laat de Italianen het niet horen, maar volgens ons is een pizza van de Kamado nog lekkerder dan uit de pizzaoven. De rokerigheid van de kolen geeft net die extra kick aan de pizza. De pizzastenen zijn gemaakt van extra sterk cordieriet keramiek waardoor ze heel goed tegen hoge temperaturen kunnen (onmisbaar voor een knapperige bodem). Belangrijk is om de pizzasteen nooit direct boven het vuur te leggen. Gebruik een Divide and Conquer (met beide half moon plates erin) of een Plate Setter onder de pizzasteen. De steen wordt anders te heet en dan verbrand 'di Bodum'.

Maak de pizza op Italiaanse wijze (ondanks dat we de Kamado boven de pizzaoven prefereren, zijn we gek op Italië de Italiaanse keuken): een mooie dunne bodem en vooral niet te veel saus en beleg. Zo houd je de bodem lekker luchtig en knapperig en 'kook' je de toppings niet kapot. Pizza's maken is ook een geweldige bezigheid met kinderen: deeg maken, pizza beleggen en op de Kamado. Het mooie is dat de pizza ook zo klaar is op de Kamado. Perfect dus voor de kleine koks die niet kunnen wachten om hun culinaire hoogstandje op te eten!

In combinatie met de Pizzaschep en het Pizzames ben je helemaal klaar om de lekkerste pizza's op de Kamado te maken!

Meer dan alleen voor pizza’s

De pizzasteen uit deze set is niet alleen geschikt voor de Kamado, maar kan ook gewoon in de heteluchtoven worden gebruikt. Ideaal dus voor binnen én buiten koken, het hele jaar door. Bovendien kun je er veel meer mee bereiden dan alleen pizza’s. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een focaccia met rozemarijn en zeezout, een flammkuchen met spek en ui, of zelfs een zoete appelgalette. Wat je ook maakt: de steen zorgt voor een gelijkmatige garing en een knapperige, ambachtelijke bodem. Let er wel op dat je de steen altijd rustig laat opwarmen – zo voorkom je temperatuurstress en krijg je het beste bakresultaat.

De Extra Small pizzasteen is geschikt voor de 13'' Kamado of groter. De pizzasteen heeft een diameter van 23 cm.

De Small pizzasteen is geschikt voor de 14" Kamado of groter en meet 26,5 cm.

De Compact pizzasteen is perfect voor de 15" kamado of groter. De pizzasteen heeft een diameter van 29,5 cm.

Im an Editor and spend most of my days typing in front of a computer. I've never really used a wrist pad before, but my wrists were laying on the edge of my desk, which after a while, began to hurt my wrists, so I felt like it was time to invest in a wrist pad. I looked at plenty of them here on Amazon and this one from Glorious had some great reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Even though I'm not a "gammer," this rest is beyond awesome! It's perfect for typing all day, and even though some reviews noted that it was too "high" - it's really not and works great on a keyboard with a kickstand under it, or even when I'm not using my wireless keyboard, it still works great typing on my MacBook Air (2015 Edition). It has a sticky underside that keeps it in place, but it's also not too sticky, so you can move it around with ease. I will admit, it is a little firm, so if you're looking for a wrist pad that's "gel-like" for your wrists to sink into - this is not for you. It's firm and holds your wrists up above the keyboard so that you're typing downward, rather than having your wrist slanted up at a 45 degree angle, which is terrible for you. I've only had the wrist pad for 2 days, but I can't tell you how much pain it's relieved from my wrists sitting on the edge of my desk. The full length one fits perfectly with my keyboard with the numbers extended on the right side, and should I decide to only use my laptop's keyboard, the pad works great for that as well. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a solid, firm pad to rest your wrists on while typing.

My wrists feel like they are way too high to type comfortably
For the Price and function of this product to me it gets 3 stars. To problem is however for me, the height of the pad is a bit ridiculous. My wrists feel like they are way too high to type comfortably. I am using an HHKB pro2 and using this wrist rest, my wrists are suspended extremely high up compared to my keyboard. It just does not feel right. But at the very least this wristrest prevents me from digging my wrist into the edge of my desk which is all I wanted it to do really in the first place. But with my wrists this high up, it just seems extremely awkward to type normally. Maybe hopefully the wristrest will flatten over time. It has to be mentioned as well that my unit is not perfectly flat. If I put pressure on either the right or left side of the wrist rest, the opposite side of which I pressed will result in being raised upwards. This is not a huge problem, I am just nitpicking here. Lastly, the gaudy branding is a turn off for me. This is extremely subjective but if it came just purely with no logo or a much smaller one I would have been happier. I dont really need everyone who walks by my computer setup to read "Glorious PC gaming race." I just do not fit that age demographic anymore. If this wrist rest was a few CM lower in height, and the branding was gone. I wouldve easily gave it 6/5 stars. The build quality seems very good and sturdy.
